while the views are nice, the steep stairs definitely soured my experience, woudl ve been better if the elevator worked for all. i almost gave a good review, but the lack of special treatment for my stay, like a complimentary upgrade, was disappointing. such a shame, this place had such potential.

Couple’s Perfect Getaway

The breakfasts were extraordinary. Michelangelo personally made an omelet for us using fresh local ingredients, it was the best I ever had. The rooftop terrace is an absolute gem, we spent each evening with a bottle of wine under the stars, the view is simply unbeatable.

It wasn't cheap, but worth every penny for the experience.

Amazing stay! The King Room had great amenities like a minibar, electric kettle, and a private bathroom with a shower. The balcony view was stunning, and the air conditioning was perfect for hot days. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits and pastries. The terrace was a highlight too, offering gorgeous views!

There were inconveniences regarding entering and exiting the B&B, making it frustrating. The property did have an elevator, but we faced two flights of stairs which were a hassle. I was extremely put off by the lack of parking options, forcing me to park far away at a costly multi-storey car park.

Just a smart choice for a fleeting stay in Varenna with outstanding value for money. Michelangelo helped us with local reservations so we didn't have to worry about finding a place to eat. Make sure to ask for the ferry schedules upon arrival.

Man, the breakfast at Michelangelo B&B was out of this world! Customized just for us, it featured the freshest local ingredients. Plus, the private rooftop deck was a game-changer, offering a stunning 360-degree view of Lake Como that we soaked in like it was the last sunset on Earth.

If only 24 hours could stretch a little longer! We loved every second, but it flew by too quickly, making us wish we had more time to explore Varenna and the nearby eateries.

staying at michelangelo b&b was a dream! the rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views, and it was only steps away from the town square. michelangelo's breakfast was truly something special, especially his delicious omelette and fresh fruit. i loved how he took pride in every dish he served, making breakfast a highlight of my stay.

We stayed in the Double Room with Balcony and it was amazing! The room was super clean and comfy, giving us a cozy vibe. The best part was definitely the private balcony with the stunning lake view. Also, the rooftop terrace was a highlight, with breathtaking views where we enjoyed some lovely evenings. Only downside was that we could hear some noise from outside sometimes, but it didn’t ruin our stay!
